Where the 15K is a quality all-rounder, the 100K is a single-minded volume machine. It prints 4,500 B2 sheets per hour in 4/0, hits 6,000 sheets per hour in three-color EPM, and duplexes at 2,250 sheets per hour, on the same 750 x 530 mm format and 812 dpi ElectroInk imaging as its sibling. Configuration is deliberately simple: four stations, CMYK, with EPM as the productivity lever — this press is built for volume rather than special inks.

The headline feature is true non-stop operation. Operators can swap plates and blankets and load paper while the press keeps printing, and a suite of autonomous-printing features lets one operator mind the machine through a 24/7 shift pattern. HP rates it at more than 2 million B2 sheets per month — the highest-throughput B2 digital sheetfed press you can buy — which pushes digital break-even run lengths into the thousands and puts it in direct contention with 40-inch offset iron.

Media range covers 70-400 gsm uncoated and 90-400 gsm coated (75-450 micron), so the same engine can flow commercial work, books and carton board. A new configured press costs roughly USD 1.8-2.5 million or more, and because the model is still young there are very few units on the used market.

The buyers are high-volume print factories, web-to-print giants and book plants — operations that think in millions of sheets and measure success in uptime. In Southeast Asia that profile is still rare but growing: as Vietnamese trade printers consolidate web-to-print volume, the 100K is the machine their five-year plans point toward.
