HanoiPrintPack 2027 (30 June–3 July, VEC, Hanoi): a visitor guide for print shops and packaging buyers
Northern Vietnam’s printing and packaging machinery show: dates, venue, opening hours, who should go, what to ask on the stands, and how we help visitors turn brochures into landed-cost quotes.

HanoiPrintPack is the printing and packaging machinery exhibition for northern Vietnam. The 2027 edition, the 14th, runs from Wednesday 30 June to Saturday 3 July 2027 at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC), Tu Lien Bridge Road, Dong Anh, Hanoi. Opening hours are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, closing at 3:30 PM on the last day. It is organised by Chan Chao International with Vinexad and Yorkers Trade & Marketing, and supported by the Vietnam Printing Association and the Printing Association of Ho Chi Minh City. HanoiPlas 2027, the plastics and rubber machinery show, runs on the same dates at the same venue. Dates, hours and venue are taken from the organiser’s official site, hanoiprintpack.chanchao.com.tw; check it again before you travel.
How big is it? The organiser’s report on the 2026 edition says HanoiPrintPack, HanoiPlas and a new smart-manufacturing show together filled more than 15,000 m² in VEC Halls 1 and 2, with over 400 exhibitors from 11 countries and territories. It is smaller than the southern shows, but it is the one place in the north where you can see presses, finishing lines and materials running side by side without flying to Ho Chi Minh City.
What you will see: offset and digital presses, flexo label presses, die-cutting and creasing, folder-gluers, laminating and hot-foil stamping, carton and corrugated lines, prepress and colour measurement, inks and consumables, label inspection, coding and marking, RFID and anti-counterfeiting labels, plus flexible and paper packaging materials. The 2026 product listings ranged from production colour presses and thermal lamination films to roll-to-roll label inspection and corrugator controls, so expect a real mix of print and converting equipment.
Who should go: commercial and digital print shops in Hanoi and the northern provinces planning a press, finishing or laminating upgrade; label printers comparing flexo, digital and inspection equipment; carton and packaging converters; and brand owners and SMEs in the north who buy printed boxes, labels or pouches and want to see materials and finishes in person. Southern shops may find VietnamPrintPack, held at SECC in Ho Chi Minh City on 22–25 September 2027, more convenient.
Admission rules from the organiser: children under 16 are not admitted, visitors should dress appropriately, slippers and flip-flops are not allowed, and pets are not permitted. Register as a visitor through the official site before the show and bring plenty of business cards. The organiser has also warned about people impersonating the show to sell fake contracts, payment requests or visitor lists, so register and pay only through the official channels.
Tips for a productive visit. List your target jobs before you go: sheet size, run length, substrates and what each job costs you today. Walk the halls once, then go back to the five or six stands that matter. Ask every machine supplier the same questions so the answers compare: real speed on your job (not the brochure maximum), make-ready and changeover time, power and air supply, consumable cost per thousand sheets, who services the machine in the north and how fast, spare-parts stock in Vietnam, warranty terms and lead time to Hai Phong. Ask material suppliers for MOQs, sample packs and food-contact documents. If you are seeing a running demo, bring your own file and stock.
Practical notes. VEC is on the north side of the Red River in Dong Anh, not in the city centre, so allow for traffic on the bridges at rush hour or stay nearby; the organiser lists partner hotels and visa help on its site. Early July in Hanoi is hot and rainy, so plan for showers between halls. The first two days are the best for meeting senior sales and technical staff; on the Saturday the show closes at 3:30 PM and some stands start packing up early.
How PrinterLady helps. We are a printing and packaging consultancy working with printers, converters and packaging producers across Vietnam. Before the show we can help you shortlist machines, finishing equipment or packaging formats and prepare the questions to ask. After it, send us the brochures and quotes you collected: we compare specifications like for like, check pricing directly with manufacturers, and build a landed-cost estimate in VND with import duty, VAT, freight to Hai Phong, installation and local service. If you are buying packaging rather than machines, we can turn what you saw into a printed sample and production quote through the printers we work with.
Going to HanoiPrintPack, or want us to look at a machine or material for you? Send your list through our quote form or email info@printerlady.com and we will reply with a sourcing plan. We cover the other printing, packaging, label and signage shows in Vietnam and Southeast Asia in this news section.
