ProPak Vietnam 2027 (10–12 March, SECC, HCMC): a visitor guide for print shops and packaging buyers
Dates, venue, who should go and how to plan your visit to Vietnam’s largest processing and packaging exhibition, plus how we help visitors turn booth conversations into landed-cost quotes.

ProPak Vietnam is the country’s main trade exhibition for processing and packaging technology, organised by Informa Markets. The 2027 edition, the 18th, runs from Wednesday 10 March to Friday 12 March 2027, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh, Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. A Drink Tech zone for beverage equipment returns inside the show. Dates and venue are taken from the organiser’s official site, propakvietnam.com; check it again before you travel.
What you will see: packaging machinery (filling, sealing, wrapping, cartoning, labeling and coding), flexible and rigid packaging materials, food and beverage processing equipment, and the suppliers of inks, films, labels and paperboard that feed them. It is a packaging and processing show first, so expect few digital presses; for presses and post-press equipment the Chan Chao shows later in the year (HanoiPrintPack in June–July and VietnamPrintPack at SECC in September 2027) are the better fit.
Who should go: brand owners and SMEs buying printed packaging (pouches, cartons, labels, sleeves) who want to compare materials and finishes in person; packaging converters and label printers looking at converting, inspection and coding lines; and digital print shops thinking about moving into short-run packaging, who can see what substrates and finishing their future customers expect.
Admission rules from the organiser: the show is for trade and business visitors only; the general public and anyone under 18 are not admitted; shorts and slippers are refused; and filming and photography inside the halls are prohibited. Pre-register online, wear your badge at all times, and bring plenty of business cards.
Tips for a productive day. Write down your target jobs before you go: sizes, quantities, materials and the price you pay today. Walk the hall once without stopping, then return to the five or six booths that matter. Ask every machine supplier the same questions so answers are comparable: output speed on your actual job, changeover time, power and air requirements, consumable cost, local technician coverage, warranty terms and lead time to Cát Lái or Hải Phòng. Ask material suppliers for MOQs, sample packs and food-contact documentation. Photograph business cards, not booths.
Practical notes: SECC is in Phu My Hung, District 7 area, roughly 17 km from downtown HCMC, so allow for traffic or stay nearby (the organiser lists hotels a few minutes from the venue). Go on the first or second day if you want time with senior sales staff; the last afternoon is quieter but some exhibits start packing up.
How PrinterLady helps. We are a printing and packaging consultancy working with printers and packaging producers across Vietnam. Before the show, we help you shortlist equipment or packaging formats and the questions to ask. After it, send us the brochures and quotes you collected: we compare specifications like for like, check the manufacturer directly, and build a landed-cost estimate with duty, VAT, freight and installation so you can see the real price in VND. If you are buying packaging rather than machines, we can turn what you saw into a printed sample and production quote through our partner printers.
Planning to attend, or want us to look at a machine or material for you? Send your list through our quote form or email info@printerlady.com and we will reply with a sourcing plan. We are also tracking the other printing, packaging, label and signage shows in Vietnam and Southeast Asia in 2027 and will cover them here.
