VietnamPrintPack 2027 (22–25 September, SECC, HCMC): a visitor guide for print shops and packaging buyers

Southern Vietnam’s biggest printing and packaging show: dates, venue, opening hours, who should go, what to ask on the stands, and how we help visitors turn brochures into landed-cost quotes.

VietnamPrintPack is Ho Chi Minh City’s annual printing and packaging industry exhibition and the largest show of its kind in southern Vietnam. The 2027 edition, the 25th, runs from Wednesday 22 September to Saturday 25 September 2027 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh, Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Opening hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closing at 3:00 PM on the last day. It is organised by Chan Chao International with Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service. Dates, hours and venue are taken from the organiser’s official site, vietnamprintpack.chanchao.com.tw; check it again before you travel.

How big is it? According to the organiser’s report on the 2026 edition (16–19 September 2026, also at SECC), the show covered 16,000 m² with 300 exhibitors from 13 countries and territories and 21,102 trade visitors. That makes it the busiest single place in Vietnam to see presses, finishing and converting lines and materials from many suppliers in one visit.

What you will see: digital and offset presses, label presses, die-cutting, creasing and folder-gluing, laminating and foil stamping, rigid box making machines, corrugated and carton lines, prepress and colour management, inks, films, paper and board, and packaging materials. The organiser’s 2026 report highlighted high-speed digital printing lines, offset presses, rigid box machines and corrugated systems, plus a strong showing of sustainable packaging, automation and RFID smart labels. Seminars in 2026 were run by the Vietnam Printing Association, the Vietnam Packaging Association, the Vietnam Waste Recycling Association and the Vietnam Automation Association, so check the programme for talks worth planning your day around.

Who should go: commercial and digital print shops in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces planning a press, finishing or coating upgrade; shops running HP Indigo or other digital presses who want to compare laminators, creasers, cutters and binding equipment side by side; label printers and carton or corrugated converters; and brand owners and SMEs who buy printed boxes, labels, bags or pouches and want to see materials and finishes in person. Northern shops may prefer HanoiPrintPack at VEC, Hanoi, on 30 June–3 July 2027, and packaging-machinery buyers should also look at ProPak Vietnam at SECC on 10–12 March 2027.

Admission rules from the organiser: children under 16 are not permitted, visitors should dress appropriately, slippers are not allowed, and pets are prohibited. Pre-register online before the show: you then enter by showing your admission QR code, which is valid only for the person it was issued to. The organiser has also published a warning about fraud and impersonation, so register and pay only through the official channels, and ignore anyone offering visitor lists or contracts in the show’s name.

Tips for a productive visit. Write down your target jobs before you go: sheet or roll size, run length, substrates, finishes and what each job costs you today. Walk the halls once, then return to the five or six stands that matter. Ask every machine supplier the same questions so the answers compare: real speed on your job (not the brochure maximum), make-ready and changeover time, power and air supply, consumable cost per thousand sheets, who services the machine in the south and how quickly, which spare parts are stocked in Vietnam, warranty terms, and lead time to Cát Lái. Ask material suppliers for MOQs, sample packs and food-contact documents. If a stand runs demos, bring your own file and stock.

Practical notes. SECC is in the Phu My Hung area on Nguyen Van Linh, well south of the city centre, so allow for traffic or stay nearby; the official site lists partner hotels and visa help. In 2026 the organiser also ran a free shuttle bus for group visitors, so check whether it is offered again. Late September is still rainy season in Ho Chi Minh City, so expect afternoon showers. The first two days are best for meeting senior sales and technical staff; on Saturday the show closes at 3:00 PM and some stands pack up early.

How PrinterLady helps. We are a printing and packaging consultancy working with printers, converters and packaging producers across Vietnam. Before the show we can help you shortlist presses, finishing equipment or packaging formats and prepare the questions to ask. After it, send us the brochures and quotes you collected: we compare specifications like for like, check pricing directly with manufacturers, and build a landed-cost estimate in VND with import duty, VAT, freight to Cát Lái, installation and local service. If you are buying packaging rather than machines, we can turn what you saw into a printed sample and production quote through the printers we work with.

Going to VietnamPrintPack, or want us to look at a machine or material for you? Send your list through our quote form or email info@printerlady.com and we will reply with a sourcing plan. We cover the other printing, packaging, label and signage shows in Vietnam and Southeast Asia in this news section.
