AccurioPress C7100

The AccurioPress C7100 — and its 90 ppm sibling the C7090 — is the machine that turns a copy shop into a production printer. It runs 100 A4 pages per minute (53 ppm at SRA3) at a 2400 x 3600 dpi equivalent resolution in 8-bit, using Konica Minolta's Simitri V polymerized toner, whose low-temperature fusing gives prints a flatter, more offset-like matte finish than older toner generations. Sheets run to 330 x 487 mm SRA3+ with long sheets to 1,300 mm simplex and 900 mm duplex.

The IQ-501 Intelligent Quality Optimizer is the feature that changed the segment. It watches every sheet with cameras and a spectrophotometer, adjusting color and front-to-back registration in a closed loop while the press runs — work that on older machines consumed an operator's whole attention. For a Vietnamese shop where the owner's nephew might be the press operator, that automation is the difference between sellable and unsellable work on day one.

Media range is 52-400 gsm with auto-duplex all the way to 400 gsm, and recommended volume sits around 150,000-300,000 A4 pages per month against a maximum rating near 750,000. The finishing catalog is the deepest in the class: inline saddle-stitch booklet makers, perfect binders and trimmers let a small shop deliver finished books, not just printed sheets. New systems configure at roughly USD 65,000-130,000 with IQ-501 and finishing; refurbished units at USD 25,000-60,000 are the classic first production press for a growing business.

Konica Minolta's dealer network in Vietnam is strong and the machine's consumables economics are well understood, which is why quick printers, scaling copy shops, corporate reprographics departments and small commercial printers moving off aging offset all land here.
