Ricoh Pro C7500

The Pro C7500 is Ricoh's answer to a simple question: how much embellishment can a mid-size shop sell without buying an Indigo? The base engine prints 85 A4 pages per minute — 95 ppm with the productivity upgrade — at 2400 x 4800 dpi from Ricoh's VCSEL laser imaging, and it holds speed consistently across stocks. Sheets run up to 330.2 x 487.7 mm SRA3+, with banner sheets to 1,260 mm simplex and an unmatched 960 mm in automatic duplex.

The fifth color station is the story. Operators can swap between seven specialty toners — white, clear, neon yellow, neon pink, invisible red, gold and silver — the widest fifth-color menu in the SRA3 class, and the only one in this segment offering true gold and silver metallic toner. That turns wedding invitations, certificates, premium menus and white-on-black business cards from outsourced jobs into in-house margin. A new elastic fusing belt also lets the press print evenly on textured and embossed stocks that flat-fused toner machines struggle with.

Media handling is another quiet weapon: 40-470 gsm is the heaviest range in the segment, with auto-duplex on thick board, and inline Auto Color Diagnosis sensing keeps color stable through long runs. Ricoh recommends volumes up to about 240,000 A4 pages per month with short-term peaks well above that. A new press configures at roughly USD 120,000-200,000 depending on the fifth station and finishing; refurbished Pro C7200X predecessors trade at USD 40,000-80,000.

For Vietnamese printers, the C7500 hits a sweet spot: wedding-card and premium-collateral demand is strong, and Ricoh Vietnam's direct service presence — a decisive factor in any press purchase here — is among the strongest in the region. It is the machine for a commercial shop or in-plant that wants metallics, neons and white without Indigo-level investment or click rates.
