Tết is the busiest packaging season in Vietnam. Companies send gift sets to clients and staff, and food, tea, coffee and specialty brands sell boxed hampers. The box often matters as much as what is inside: rigid board wrapped in art paper, hot foil, embossing and a shaped insert that holds each item in place, with a matching paper bag to carry it.
Rigid boxes are partly hand-assembled, and every plant fills up before Tết. Lunar New Year 2027 falls on 6 February 2027, so most gift boxes need to be delivered by mid-January. Working back from that, the design and sample should be approved by early December. Flat-pack collapsible rigid boxes are a good option when you need to ship or store many boxes, because they arrive flat and fold up in seconds.

Shaped paperboard, EVA or foam inserts sized to each bottle, jar or tin so the set looks full and arrives intact.

Tết and year-end events do not move. We plan the sample, production and delivery backwards from your gifting date.

Timing
Rigid gift boxes typically take three to five weeks after sample approval, longer in December. For Tết 2027 (6 February 2027), send your brief by November and approve the sample by early December.
