Regular slotted carton (RSC)

The everyday shipping carton: four flaps top and bottom that meet in the middle and are taped shut.

  • No die in basic form
  • Taped closure
  • Ships flat
  • Hand holes optional

The 0201 uses board very efficiently and can be made without a cutting die, so it is usually the lowest-cost way to ship goods. It is glued or stitched at the manufacturer’s joint and delivered flat; your team folds it up and tapes the flaps.

Choose the flute by weight and route: 3-ply B or C flute for most domestic shipments, 5-ply BC for heavy, stacked or export loads. Add hand holes, a printed logo, handling marks or full-colour print as needed.
